Rohit Bal bats for B'wood

He’s been called the quintessential enfant terrible of the fashion world, known as much for his hard partying ways as his exquisitely crafted creations. But now, having recently turned 50 and recovered from a reportedly near fatal health scare, Rohit Bal is looking to reinvent the wheel.
Hot on the heels of dressing Amitabh Bachchan for the new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, BT has learnt that the designer extraordinaire will be styling his very first Bollywood film.Bal will be designing the wardrobe for good friend Arjun Rampal for his next film, Heroine.
Rampal will be playing the male lead opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the film, a suave, shrewd character with shades of grey. Needless to say he’s going to have an extremely stylish look in the movie, and who better than his long-time friend to give him that much-needed shot of high fashion. Known for his impeccable cuts, tailoring and colours, Bal will no doubt give his favourite muse some memorable looks in his filmi debut.
